Remko van den Berg, born and bred in 's-Hertogenbosch, south of the big rivers
as we say, has been active as a professional painter for quite a number of years now.
Over the years he has become fully proficient of many techniques such as oilpainting, 
watercolours and pastel drawings. As a flyfisher blood was thicker than water, 
and he started to paint various species of fish ... trout, pike, carp and the like, a few years ago. 
Since the early 80's Remko's works of art can been seen and admired at fishing 
shows here and abroad. That is where we usually have the pleasure of meeting
one another. As you will notice nature and above all the world of animals form a 
 great and important source of inspiration for Remko. I am pleased to introduce
