I am truly pleased to have you meet TON LINDHOUT,one of my many friends ... 
 a very close fishing buddy for many decades ... a bosom friend so to say. 
 Oddly enough it was not through fishing that we met, but through music.
 I am repeating myself when I say that in my  flyfishing life I have met 
 many colleagues who excel in other artistic fields. Sculptors,woodworkers, 
 painters, and musicians. Upon my return from France, where I resided for 
 a few years, I hooked up with my jazzmusic making friends again for a 
 Saturday jam session. Ton joined the group that morning with two of his 
 instruments ... a clarinet and a saxophone. He had a question for me.
"I hear you flyfish, Bas ... would you ...". The start of a longlasting good
 friendship ... fishing trips together ... countless adventures and stories 
to be told. Finding the right fishing partner is just as important and 
 difficult as it is to find the right woman. My friend Ton fits the bill !
