the greatest flyfishing show on the European Continent has gone ...
in the twinkling of an eye. Some 2.300 visitors came through the
"IJsselstein" gates to meet old friends and make new ones.
Two days of trying out new rods, tying new flies, belting down a
pint of Guiness and shooting the breeze.
The main tent and exhibitors booths were well worth a long visit,
exquisite flydressing skills could be watched in the fly tying area,
it was great fun watching the children wrestling with furs and
feathers, whole pigs on the barbecue cooked to perfection,
auctioneer Ad Swier selling the craziest stuff in the auction,
the sumptuous dinner in the Hattem Chinese restaurant, and
the Mystery Tour on Monday was the icing on the FlyFair cake.
There are approximately a 135 pictures on these pages, including
6 photos of a salmon fly workshop given before the fair.
Each heading on the left will take you to a separate page.
Sweet memories for many of you.
A tremendous job to make this FlyFair ScrapBook, but ... I've got
nothing else to do anyway ... at least, that's what people say. Enjoy !
