I had the pleasure of re-visiting the northern part of the Black Forest
earlier this year. Together with my friend Bart I fished there for a week,
early August. We were joined by our American friend Hermann Schibli
for a couple of days. Took the Missus there for a 2 weeks' vacation end
September/ early October for some more fishing, but mainly playing the
tourist. We fished a stretch of about two miles of the river 'NAGOLD',
densely populated with browns and rainbows. Grayling are also available
 in big numbers.
So, what are we waiting for ... ?

All fishing must be done with barbless hooks. Every fisherman is allowed to
keep two fish over 30 cm. per day, however all brown trout measuring between
35 and 40 cm. must be released immediately. We released most of our fish,
but kept a couple to smoke or barbeque for lunch.
