Hermann Schibli (53) was born in Munich, Germany, but
has spent most of his life in America, where he
he started fly fishing in Michigan in 1982. When in
Bavaria he fishes mostly in nearby Austria for trout
and grayling. Back in the USA he fishes with his
buddies in his adopted home of New Hampshire,
also the "base of operations" for fishing trips to
Canada, Montana and Alaska. And every year in
November he takes a pilgrimage to the Salmon
River in NY State to chase steelhead.
Hermann enjoys tying flies, strictly as an amateur,
and some of his flies are displayed on the net.
