I am very happy to have JEAN-PAUL DESSAIGNE and some of his freestyle creations on my site. J-P lives in Brittany in the western part of France. We first met at a trade show in Amsterdam, and we kept in touch ever since. He works for Mouches Ragot where he is in charge of the fly tying and fly fishing department. I had the pleasure of spending some time with him tying salmon flies at his home in Loudeac some 7 years ago. Although he can tie outstanding traditional classic patterns, he'd rather indulge in dressing freestyle, nondescript flies thereby developing his own techniques. Every fly he ties is unique and one of a kind. As can be seen J-P's work was influenced by Daniel Dufour, Canada. Enjoy his colourful works of art ! Merci infiniment mon cher collègue !
