I first met Marc Petitjean at a flyfishing show in Hilden, Germany in 1989. On one of the walls of his small booth there was a little flyplate containing 16 different flies, four sizes of each. I stood there admiring the intricate little dry flies, and realized that I had stumbled upon a totally new concept in tying CDC flies. The owner of the booth approached me, and before he had a chance to start talking I said: "Sir ... these flies will catch fish !". My words led to a long and interesting conversation. That was the start of a close and longlasting friendship. I have had the great pleasure of travelling with Marc all over the USA doing shows in Somerset, NJ., San Mateo, CA., and Seattle, WA. We regularly meet at flyfishing expo's all over Europe where I have tied in his booth on several occasions. I take great pleasure in showing all my readers step-by-step instructions for one of his most effective flies ... the MP CDC Parachute. Join me for some ...
