These pages shows you some patterns of some friends of mine. Bert and Tom rank
among the best Dutch flydressers, allround tiers like most of us. Apart from tying
the regular dry and wet stuff, including the occasional classic Antlantic salmon fly,
they also specialize in Streamerflies and Poppers, very effective creations in the
pursuit of Northern Pike. As can be seen from Tom's page some of their flies also
seduce exotic species such as Piranha, Bonefish, Peacock Bass, Spanish Mackerel
 and .... Sphyraena !!??
The pictures of the New Zealand brown and the Surinam catfish are the icing on the
cake of these pages. Thanks guys ... for some outstanding material for my website !

Started out as a 'coarse fisherman, like most of us, and picked up
flyfishing approximately 7 years ago. Bert told me that the first
fly he ever saw tied by a friend was a Red Tag, and he said to
himself ... "Bet I can do that too". Over the years Bert developed
into an excellent and very meticulous flydresser.
He is an enthousiastic participant in my weekly salmon fly
workshop, and a great guy to work with.
Some of his work was on display in flyfishing art exhibitions in
 Idaho and Montana.
His last 'GREEN HIGHLANDER' is on my salmon fly page.
 He's getting there ... !

... and his partner Fousjia have been fishing together for 23 years.
They flung their flyrods all over God's blue waters and were seen
fishing in Panama, Costa Rica, Surinam and Belize, chasing local
species both in inland waters and in the salt. Three pages to enjoy !
